Custom Silicone Babycare & Feeding Programmes
SILCAP develops custom babycare and feeding products primarily through in-house HTV silicone compression moulding. HTV silicone extrusion is reviewed where a project requires continuous silicone sections. Each programme is defined around intended use, product function, material, tooling, quantity, packaging and project-specific documentation or testing needs.
A Babycare Programme Starts with Use and Function
Product categories are useful only after the intended use is clear. SILCAP reviews the programme as a connected set of functions, then confirms geometry, material, manufacturing route and project controls for each product.
-
01
MEALTIME
Plates, Bowls & Bibs
Suction or divided formats, bowls, bibs and reusable mealtime accessories reviewed around size, stability, closure and programme requirements.
-
02
SELF-FEEDING
Spoons & Utensils
Training spoons, forks and utensils reviewed around dimensions, handle geometry, softness, colour and intended function.
-
03
DRINKING
Cups, Lids & Components
Training cups, lids and related moulded components reviewed around intended use, dimensions, material and assembly requirements.
-
04
TEETHING & SENSORY
Teethers & Sensory Products
Moulded products reviewed around geometry, surface design, intended age range, material and customer-specific requirements.

PROGRAMME EXTENSIONS
Customer-Specific Formats
Additional babycare or feeding products can be reviewed from a concept, drawing, reference sample or defined private-label programme.
Configure the Programme Around the Sales Model
Assortment, branding, packaging, quantity and repeat-demand requirements are reviewed against the commercial format of the programme.
Babycare & Feeding Product Families
Representative product-family visuals support commercial programme discussion. Final project suitability is reviewed against drawings, samples, material requirements, operating conditions and documentation needs.

Customer-Specific Babycare Programmes
Manufacturing Fit for Babycare Programmes
The manufacturing route is confirmed after review of product geometry, intended function, material, tooling and production requirements.
HTV Silicone Compression Moulding
Custom moulded babycare and feeding products are primarily reviewed for in-house HTV silicone compression moulding according to geometry, material, colour, tooling and production requirements.
Plates, bowls, bibs, cups, lids, utensils, teethers and customer-specific moulded geometries.
The final moulding route is confirmed after concept, drawing or sample review. Tooling development is coordinated through external tooling partners.
Control the Programme Around the Actual Project Requirements
Material documentation, intended use, tooling, testing, packaging and reporting are confirmed as project controls rather than presented as universal product approvals.
Material Basis
Available raw-material documentation, material selection, Shore A hardness and colour are reviewed against the defined product.
Intended Use
Product function, intended use, age range, geometry and target-market requirements are part of the project definition.
Tooling & Sampling
Tooling development is coordinated through external tooling partners, with sampling and approval requirements defined per project.
Testing Scope
Where final product-specific testing is required, SILCAP can coordinate external laboratory testing within the agreed project scope.
Packaging & Labelling
Packaging format, branding, labelling and barcode requirements are reviewed against approved references and programme requirements.
Documentation
Available test reports, target-market document requirements and customer-specific reporting needs are confirmed for the project.
Documentation availability and testing scope are confirmed per project and must not be treated as universal product certification.
The Inputs That Define the Project
Clear inputs allow SILCAP to review intended use, manufacturing route, tooling and sampling, packaging and the commercial programme without treating assumptions as specifications.
- 01Product concept, dimensioned drawing or reference sample
- 02Intended use, age range and product function
- 03Material, Shore A hardness and colour
- 04Target quantity, assortment and repeat-demand forecast
- 05Tooling, sampling and approval requirements
- 06Branding, packaging, labelling and documentation scope
Questions Before a Babycare Project Review
Can SILCAP review a project from an existing sample?
Yes. Initial review can begin from a reference sample, dimensioned drawing or defined product concept requiring customer-specific development.
How are colours, branding and packaging managed?
Colour references, branding, packaging format, labelling and barcode requirements are reviewed against approved references and the agreed programme scope.
How is the manufacturing route confirmed?
The route is reviewed against geometry, intended function, material, tooling and production requirements. Compression moulding is the primary review route for moulded products; extrusion is considered only where continuous silicone sections are required.
How are tooling, testing and documentation managed?
Tooling development is coordinated through external tooling partners. Available raw-material documentation and any product-specific external testing requirements are confirmed per project.
